Just to spite him.
Long time no blog, eh?
Sucks.
I've been pretty busy this summer. The first half I was busy taking a god-awful English for Engineers class while working full time. The second half I was busy working full time during the week and going to Charleston for the weekend.
Charleston is the biggest city I've spent an extended amount of time in. I've driven through some decently large cities, but never...
Y'all are lazy asses when it comes to inventions. If I could create invent anything I wanted, I'd make something that allows faster than light travel (for all intents and purposes, a teleporter). Exploring the universe would be pretty awesome. Instead of spending years calculating the probability that a planet can support life based on data obtained from a small amount of images and waves, let's just visit it! To me, the next MASSIVE...
I actually edited a bit of code on the help and rules pages, so technically, I co-developed this version of the site. Give me admin powers! Damnit, Bryan!
I'm in kind of a unique position because I got to have a say in a lot of the decision making process. From the rules to the voting system to parts of the layout, I got to give my opinion on lots of things. So, in a sense, this...
AKA PS3.
I got one. You know how everybody talks about system sellers? Gran Turismo is the defintion of that. I bought a PS3 exclusively for Gran Turismo 5. As some of you might have noticed, I like cars. Gran Turismo is the best racing simulator that doesn't charge exorbitant monthly fees. Also, it's the prettiest racing simulator out there. As a result, $350 was a small price to pay.
I'll skip the boring gushing...
You've probably heard the saying "The only difference between men and boys is the price of their toys."
Guilty as charged.
The story begins a couple weeks ago during what is a typical weekday night for me. After dinner and a few games of counterstrike, I was browsing various car sale sites (Autotrader, Cars, Craigslist, Ebay, etc.). All of a sudden I found something especially interesting on Ebay: a BMW Z4. You...
No offense to Joaco, but it's time for a REAL rant. There's a reason I removed this blog from the front page right away. Lots of stong, NSFW language. Continue at your own risk.
[spoiler]
Rules of the Road
Slower traffic keep right.
It's a universal law here in the US (and pretty much everywhere else that drives on the right side of the road). Slower traffic keeps right. However, it seems...
So I'm living 20 minutes outside of a town of 4,000 while I do my co-op. Here are a few observations about the REAL Farmville (not the city's actual name).
1) At any given moment, there are at least 2 corn fields within a mile of your current location.
2) If you are late for work, you can pretty much do whatever speed you want because there are no cops out in the boonies (town is full of them). HOWEVER, Murphy's Law...
Ever since my second semester of college started, I've been thinking about my future a lot. The first semester is all about getting acclimated to the massive change you've just experienced, but since then I've been thinking about what I want to do. Until college, that IS your future. Sure, there's stuff you want to learn and experience. However, aside from learning about relationships and dealing with other people,...
I said I'd be making an IRL blog soon, so here it is. But where to start?
FSAE
FSAE = Formula SAE
What's SAE, you say? The Society of Automotive Engineers. Formula SAE, then, is a automotive engineering/racing competition. Students spend all year building a car, and then compete in a variety of events a few times a year. These cars are very small, typically weighing in between 400 and 500 pounds...
So, I haven't written a blog in a very, very long time. I figured I'd write one about my current gaming activities. What have I been playing lately? I was obsessed with Aika for a while; it's a pretty good WoW clone. I won't go into too much detail as the game's been thoroughly covered, and the nature of the quests mean that everyone follows the exact same path.
However, a couple of weeks ago I booted up Steam,...
God, it's hard to get used to saying this. I'm engaged. I've potentially promised the rest of my life to one person. Crazy, isn't it? I bet most of you are like, “WTF? I didn't even know Tarheel was dating anyone?” Let me explain.
One thing you guys might've noticed is that I don't mention a lot about my personal life. As mentioned in a...
He tomando cuatro años de Español. A mi me gusta el idioma.
Just kidding, I'm not actually going to write this blog in Spanish. Translation: I have taken four years of Spanish. I really like the language.
I started taking Spanish my freshman year of high school. My first year I took Spanish I (surprise surprise), and had a really easy teacher. If you begged enough you could pretty much get her to answer every...
Note before I start: It should be "QotW" not "QoTW." The word "the" is not capitalized in titles unless it's the first word. Now, on to my blog.
Okay, so my title is actually lying. I'd really love to race motorcycles. It's the epitome of bad ass. I shouldn't have to explain why, but I'll do so anyways. You're racing, going all out, on a 2 wheel machine that weighs only twice...
Shocker, I know. Just kidding, everyone who made one; I was just a bit surprised at how many there were.
Anyways, for me, the thing I want to change isn't physical. I'm completely confident in my body, whether it comes to exerting myself athletically, getting girls, or whatever. My looks/physical abilities are almost never the limiting factor. Instead, what I'd prefer to change is psychological. I have massive trust...

Its my Shangri-La
This has been my quickest and worst QoTW so far! I'm no poet, but I figured I'd try anyways.
