Hello all,
So I want to give a quick update to two of the various changes coming in v3. The table of BBCode in the help section is currently messy and incomplete rubbish. This is the page that replaces it. This also serves as a good preview of some of the new BBCode. Including the ability to create inline youtube videos, images and galleries. There's also better support for unicode, which...
One of the mixed blessings of this site is its size. Most everyone knows everyone. Most new people were invited by older people and have settled in nicely. The size of this site lets to some strange and often humourous events, like the constant rumour that I play World of Warcraft - I don't; and to some great friendships. One such friendship is with Melissa, better known as Mipscari. Our first and greatest moderator and a friend to all....
Free to a good home.

In other news, the only things left in V3 are the forums, the settings pages and a few misc pages.
[quote=Angra]When I initially composed "On Satanism," I did so in response to a number of threads wherein misguided users accused us of murderous, conspirative and otherwise illegal and iniquitous behaviors. My thread, though written from a wholly objective perspective at the time, was confronted with baseless cynicisms, eventually climaxing in childish ad hominem attacks and patent nonsense. One user, refusing to be coerced by my...

Will be closed on 12th of May 2010. Scraping of the site has already stopped.
Anyone who wants the database can have it if they have serious plans to remake the site. Ie, have a working copy before next month. Database schema for anyone who might do this:

Much of classic WoW has "inaccessible" areas where players aren't meant to roam. Luckily, there are a number of areas where with careful jumping and time you can gain access to these areas.
Burning Steppes has one such place, where you can get access to the mountains bordering Burning Steppes, Elwynn Forest and a little bit of Redridge Mountains.

So now I need to ditch the blues and greens. Start raiding, get my tailoring to 450, etc.
Played time is around 15 days, 9 hours, 8 minutes, 28 seconds.
VuTales v3 is coming along nicely.
I've recently started the basic framework for commenting, blogs now have comments, which can be edited, quoted and deleted. No mod tools as of yet.
I've mentioned in a frag before that rating system is also up. I've mentioned publicly before that it will change, but not how. So I will now, along with some of the other changes. VuTales has had been running for over a year now, and some of...
Bogdan Wieslaw Raczynski, you're a coward.
And the question is:
See, the last time this happened; I was a little worried, because ripping a site is against copyright laws. But VuTales my own work, and its features are too generic to be a "rip off" legally speaking. So:
Career
I have an interview on Tuesday for an apprenticeship as a support tech at a local business, very local in fact. The high street of the nearest town, which is great because it's so close and completely avoids the problems of the hourly bus service out of the village and my lack of a desire to drive. Hopefully I'll be in with a good shot, I'm not sure how many others have applied. According to the local Connexions...
Whoo. The [lightbox=http://dl.dropbox.com/u/62398/WoW/WoWScrnShot_030310_202203.jpg]classic level cap[/lightbox] and a new [lightbox=http://dl.dropbox.com/u/62398/WoW/WoWScrnShot_030310_202930.jpg]mount[/lightbox]. 10 more levels and I'll reach the next, and have to buy the next expansion. I was hoping to wait for Cata to come out and WoTLK to fall in price, but with only 10 levels to go, I'll probably end up paying full price, which...
While this site may feel simple to end users, the reality is that even the most basic features take a long time to make and test them. Take replying to this blog, for example. The site has to do the following things: Check that the form you've submitted is complete
Check the IDs given are numeric
Check that the IDs given are valid
Check the post itself isn't too short or too long
Check that the session is...
It currently has some problem, where if I try to boot from a CD/ DVD, the drive sounds like it's having a heart attack and the disc doesn't load. This only seems to happen with certain discs:
