Valve recently updated TF2, with no hats, but a bunch of new features and item tweaks. One of the ones they didn't include in the notes is that they hard disabled server side player attachments. You used to be able to attach models to players on the server - so you could add things like hats and weapons.

Updating my iPod is like playing Russian Roulette... What's going to break next?

I finally got around to upgrading from 4.0 to 4.3.1.

Casualties of war this time around include the drop shadows on my homescreen icons that I had to remove because they were clipping with the pagination above the dock. That stupid reflection effect has returned too, and I haven't worked out how to remove that crap.

I still have a draft detailing the logical flaws and inconsistencies in the question, examining each possible interpretation of the question and positing an answer for each.

Theming an iPod Touch is a pain

I can't find any tools or themes that can blur wallpapers like this. I have to photoshop any wallpapers that I use to fit. Slider and date time is called Opaque slider. Incidentally, I get wallpapers onto my iPod by SSHing them to /tmp, then going there in iFile, adding it to the photo album then deleting the file in /tmp. There's got to be a better way. :-/

I wanted to by L4D2 in the Steam sale, so I log in, add it to my cart and try to buy it.

PayPal fails first time.
