My first experience with an online community was back when I was in middle school.
I lived in a cabin, out in the middle of the woods. Had just moved there cause it was dad's dream to "Own a cabin, in which he could hunt from his porch."
Well, we had 56k connection with American Online. So I couldn't play any games, or else it'd disconnect almost instantly.

Today was weird... very weird... like, anything perverted that could happen, DID happen.
Lets start off the day.. I come inside, clock in, and see a co-worker with her shirt up and another co-worker looking at her belly...
Probably checking how "pregnant" she looks or something...
Alrighty, not much there I thought... happens once a week or so.

Playing Diablo 2...
AGAIN...
For the 4th time.
I had characters in the past... got to around lvl 84-89... kept quitting afterthat.
Always did everything. Got full set for my character, SOJs, etc etc..
But my brother comes up to me and says "Hey... lets play Diablo 2. Co-op!"
And I'm thinking "Sure! Lets pile that up on my GearsOfWar, PerfectWorld, EVE Online, G.T.V., and Fallout 3 list of...

I decided to try out Chronicles of Riddick, Assault on Dark Athena.
Now... its not the single player that scared me.
Heck no.
It was the Multiplayer gametype "Pitch Black".
Here's how it goes.
6 players max, we had 4.
So the game type is this. 1 player chosen at random is Riddick! The other guys are Mercs.
The Mercs have to kill Riddick. Whoever kills him, becomes him next round.

Well. I've been playing EVE Online lately.
Its pay to play and the retail version just came out like, last week.
Well... to start off.
Its an MMO.. but its not an RPG, or RTS, or FPS...
Its all in space. You control your ship.
Level system? THERE IS NONE!
Its all about gathering money, learning skills, and getting better ships.
Realistic ships too. Nothing cartoony. Its all made as if this was real life.
