Just a Suggestion Toward a Better Life

Written by dee32693 on August 9, 2009
So like I've been thinking. Since this is such a small community and everyone knows and loves/barely tolerates each other, could we perhaps have a birthday notification thingy? It doesn't have to say age, just someone's month/day.

Trying to remember everyone's is like, hard. And the facebook reminders are at the bottom of the homepage so it sucks D8

It could be sorta like a ping! So we all can say Happy Birthday! 8D

Okay real talk here

I sometimes wonder where you are
When i glance out of a moving car
Just a flash
A smile
A face that after awhile
Becomes faded
Curled around the edges
I remember it differently

I sometimes wonder where you went
The places and times well spent
Without me
Could it be
That you are better off
Without this loudness
The screams
I still miss you
You bled so beautifully

No Idea where that came from. Also they both have two very different spoken flow. See if you can figure it out. Feel free to burn it and flame it and KILL IT WITH FIRE!!!1111!1!!11!

I hate it. But I CREATED THIS MONSTER! I MUST LIVE WITH THE CONSEQUENCES!!! IT LIIIIVVVEEEESSSS!!! *has watched a Frankenstein movie recently*

So...Questions that need answers

How exactly do you go about becoming a nun in America?
Why did America never have dragons all over the place in medieval times?
Just where IS Waldo anyway?
Why doesn't anyone like playing semi-serious monopoly like I do?
Does Sonic run at the speed of sound or the speed of light? And which is faster?

How exactly do you go about becoming a nun in America?
Catholic?
Firstly, become a Catholic.
Secondly, don't get married..or divorced. Being a widow is fine.
Third, get a degree. Most communities like you to have at least a bachelor's.
Fourth, find a religious community or..a creed, that suits your beliefs. Your local priest can help you with that.
Get a job that suits your needs. Anything you want, as long as it's not suggestive. Benedictine sisters, for instance, work in education and service ministries, whereas Cistercian nuns are devoted to prayer and contemplation. You don't need to be passive, join the Red Cross or be an anti-war protester.
Move into the place, and live there for 2 or 3 years. It'll give you a good feel of the life you're about to take, while you still attend work.
Go through the novitiate, or training period, which may last another year or two. You'll spend your time studying, praying and deciding whether you really want to become a nun.
Take temporary vows, such as poverty, chastity, celibacy, anything.
Take your final vows. If you made good on your temporary vows, you're ready for the religious life.

Why did America never have dragons all over the place in medieval times?

Just where IS Waldo anyway?
Where you least expect him.
(Males, check your pants.)

Why doesn't anyone like playing semi-serious monopoly like I do?
What exactly does the pretense 'semi-serious' entail?

Dude I LOVE Monopoly... I'm amazing at not getting caught by ppl when I land on their spaces... Just give the dice to the next person and be like "rollrollrollrollrollroll!" then they roll and the other dude is like "NO WAITZ, U DIDN'T PAY RENTZ@@@!" but our rule is that after the next person rolls, all previous actions are locked in >:D

I do that too!
I know the tricks and trades of being a sneaky Monopoly player. I'm usually the banker, and so I trade in my cash for mortgages and houses in quiet, and call rent on people in surprise.
Anyone up for online Monopoly?

So...f I'm married I have to kill my husband? I can always repent later right? xD Ah, it seems to be easier to become a nun in England.

I like to actually do the monopoly thing with monopolizing the places until someone has to pay you and stuff. With making deals and plans and such. It exercises my business mind, but no one wants to play it like that D;

@Everyone else Holy moly! =0 I can finally get to learn the full game with mortgage and stuff! 8D Let's play plz

Anyone up for online Monopoly?

Online monopoly? :o

There's online Monopoly? Whar? But online isn't as fun as offline either, because it's harder to trick people, you can't really set "house rules" and you don't get to see the looks on pplz faces when you TOTALLY own them.

Ykrip?
I like the sound of that.

And it's named whatever you want it to be, baby.

@iRawk Well yeah. seeing other player's faces is part of the fun! Like playing poker.

@Pirky Well since you put it that way, I have to make it completely emasculating so I can reference to it in normal conversation so only you and I would get it >;D I call genius props <3

@Conners
If you want. :)

Sun Aug 09, 2009 11:31 PM +
