And now if you're wondering why you're reading another maplestory blog so soon after you read the last one, it's because Nexon has decided to release the 2nd part of the Legends update.

She's sort of like a wood elf, standard story, sealed away by black mage, blah blah blah, protect her country, sealed herself and the country away for hundreds of years, maple world progressed while elves froze in ice, seal weakens, she wakes up, etc, etc. Your standard MapleStory spiel.

Now, you're supposed to look elegant and sh*t, but:

In terms of skillzors, wood elves are terribly agile, and this class is quite mobile, and dishes heavy damage, which makes all the other people go "OP OP OP OP".

So, is it OP? As of now, yes. As of the next rebalance patch, no, it gets nerfed.

Anyway, there's 2 basic things that I really like, first off, you get a sort of flash jump like skill at level 10 -- this isn't some stupid mechanic dash or aran dash, this is full on flash jump. Not as far, but just as efficient.



Now, you can combo this skill with instant rope/ladder climb, which sorta looks like this, since it's hard to capture on camera, just know that you ZOOM up any ladder:



So basically it is the most mobile class, maybe apart from Dual Blades. That, coupled with a 2nd job skill that pushes monsters towards one direction makes it so mobile it's hard to control. Oh, did I mention that they get like a permanent haste and infinite arrows from the getgo? No? Well they do.

Regular attacks are nothing special, shoot 3 (was it 2?) enemies with 4 arrows, nothing special. -rolls eyes-



I kinda stopped on my cannoneer, mainly 'cause it got temp banned until jan 11. ;---; wasn't careful.
