This was my 2nd time going to Piknic, you can read my first time here

It was even more awesome than the first. So let's jump right into it.


I went with a friend, and we had planned on meeting another friend and his girlfriend later on.
I smuggled in a bit of rum in a bottle to make things more interesting.

So we sit down and there's maybe 30 people there. I went to the bar and bought a cup of pineapple juice to mix with my rum. (Doesn't taste that bad)

"You know, once I start drinking, I'm gonna be dancing in like 30mins" I said to my friend.
"Yeah." He replied.

What puzzled me most, and what kinda hung in the back of my mind was why he had decided to come with me. It's not that I didn't enjoy his company it's just..I knew that this wasn't really his thing and I think by me mentioning dubstep sorta mislead him.

When you read in the program that someone plays dubstep in their sets, you have to understand it's not your typical Flux Pavilion tracks you have on your iPod (depending on the DJ too). It's "barebones" dubstep. Like stuff like Skream or something.
Which is why it puzzled me when he wanted to go, since I had asked him before if he liked Electro, house and maybe trance and he said no to each.

Anyway back to the story, after a couple of drinks I needed to pee so I went to the bathroom.
When I came out, I decided the time wasn't right to start dancing yet, and I didn't have a lot of money left, so I took a few shots of rum (I could hear my throat yelling "FUCK YOU!" as it went down.)


About 30mins later, I was feeling nice. The DJ had changed but the music still wasn't right. More people were arriving (some of them migrating from the Gay Pride Parade that was happened earlier that day) and the dancefloor was getting kinda crowded.
We were still waiting on my friend and his girlfriend to show up before we got lost in the crowd since we'd never feel our phones then.

When he finally did we enjoyed a nice joint and then (finally) decided to go dance.
We found an open spot on the dancefloor, right in the front of the DJ booth and danced it up.

The place was packed so fast, I lost track of my bag I had with me multiple times lol.
I raged with my friends and danced with a few random people around us.
When this guy I saw last time I went came up to us and pointed at me. Totally forgetting how to speak french I just yelled "YOU! I REMEMBER YOU!" I pointed back at him. And we all danced together.

Then,the music changed to something, deep,heavy and slow. and I felt something press against my ass. Some girl was grinding up against me.

Reverse grinding? Felt kind weird cuz I was on the receiving end for once, so I decided to fix that. I span around and faced her.
And if you haven't danced dirty before, grinding is probably the hottest thing anyone could ever do.
Especially to a heavy dubstep beat ohhh goodddd jiiiiiizzzzzz!

Definitely the highlight of the day.

We left a little before it was supposed to end.
Me: "That was fucking awesome."
Friend 2: "Fuck yeah."
Friend 1: "I thought there was dubstep today..."
