LET'S START ANOTHER TREND GUYS? REMEMBER OUR LAST ONE WITH THE "HOW-TO" GUIDES?

My god, all this talk about MapleStory is making me smile, so I decided to share some of my experiences.

I wasn't a Closed Beta kid, I started a little bit after. Back when Scania and Bera were the only worlds out.

Anyway I- wait I already said this...

After quitting on my warrior, I moved to Khaini (when it came out of course) and made another warrior. I wanted to name him "Powerstrike" after the warrior move....

Butttt I wasn't the smartest kid around and I typed it wrong; and thus my warrior Powerstirke was born.
I had a lot of fun with him though, finally hit 2nd job and advanced to Fighter. Eventually getting to 50, this was back when the OPQ Glitch was around, so I was stoked to soar to level 70 easy.

But I didn't have much time to play around with it, since it got patched kinda fast.
That summer there was this HUGE hacker stomp. I'm talking hundreds of people musta been banned PER DAY.
NEXON really stepped their game up.


Unfortunately, comedy was NOT their thing.



After messing around in Khaini I moved to Kradia. Where I started my (main) warrior named Crocher. It was at this point I started buying NX, also where my addiction to the game took a turn for the worst.


I had just started 7th grade and was in the Enriched program. I shoulda been focusing on my studies, but instead I was grinding day in and day out. Many days of school were skipped, and I almost failed the grade because I did nothing but sleep (late night gaming does that to you.)
After that period, once I hit 8th grade and saw I fucked up my chance at the Enriched program (they kicked me out), I slowed down on my gaming.

After a while, once I got the hang of school, I slowly started to reintroduce MapleStory into my life. And started playing again. 4hr 2x EXP cards just came out, so all my money was still being funneled into NX.



Then....I was banned.



I went insane, I tried to play MapleStory on other accounts, but I couldn't. After you sink so much money into one account, all the others don't matter. ( I was banned because I had LimeWire open, it was rare, but people claimed it happened to them too. And you all know I'm not smart enough to hack.)


After taking a big hiatus, Galicia came out, and this is where my Maple Story (LOL C WAT I DID DERE?) gets fun.
Anyway I made a cleric, one of my first mages ever.

I made a lot of friends that made my gaming fun again, and I slowly started to forget about Crocher (who was still banned.)

I eventually realized warriors are my passion and made a page;

Then I started to recruit VuTalers to play with me. Aaron, DnD (AKA DarkDragoon) & Jojo (AKA Joaco) starting playing first. And we started playing with the idea of making a guild.


Well first Aaron had to stop fucking dying everywhere LOL!


But we needed more people. Dussy (AKA Dustin) started playing with us and we made the guild.

After seeing our success, TarTar (aka Tarheel91) was like "omg plz lemme play!!!1"
Actually no he wasn't, I had to beg him to play, and life was going good. It was so much fun logging on everyday to see the guild, and we had a lot of fun times <3








Then, after summer was over and all that. The guild hit rough times. We all slowly went back to our lives, and people stopped logging on. And that was the end of the guild (it's kinda funny cuz we're like that too, active for a period of time, then we just die. Foreshadowing?)


After that, I mailed NEXON, and got my DK unbanned. It didn't really make a difference though, because I barely played. But it's nice knowing I still have him around.



Can we all start playing MapleStory again?
