Haha, wow. I'm totally, irrevocably, absolutely, thoroughly, positively, exponentially, trigonometry, milk, bread, eggs, whole-heartedly, superbly excited for the changes made around here.

I DON'T HAVE A ROOMMATE ANYMORE! YEAH, MAN! I can be on the computer all day naked if I want to!

Oh yeah, VuTales v3 is out. There's that too.

It's finally here. VuTales is 2 years old today, and now running VuTales 3.0. It's been a long time in the making.

The site has been completely revamped, and is bursting with new features.

What do you like about the new VuTales? What do you miss? What would you like to see in the future?

Seriously now, I'm severely impressed with this site. Everything is so damn organized, neat, and innovative. This completely annihilates anything ol' B.R. could do, as this is truly a professional Web site. I can imagine Vusys whipping this out at any job interview as an example of past experience he's had and then getting the job on the spot. This has the potential to make it big as the one of the best developed blogging sites around.

I mean, damn, look at everything! The Dashboard, man, oh the Dashboard! I can whip out a blog, thread, and fragment simultaneously without missing a beat. Everything I want to edit about myself is also RIGHT FRICKIN' THERE! The counters for everything is also pretty dang sexy. I want you guys to Ping me up and quote everything I say to get that part of the page busy.

Oh dang, the previews too! They're perfectly put to work this time. I remember before you could only preview a comment AFTER you already posted it once which was kinda weird. Now having the ability to preview virtually anything before you post it is really convenient. I can proofread adn and all that jazz and get it right the first time without having to edit a bunch of times.

Oh boy, still a bunch to talk about. The page for QoTWs is real snazzy as well. There were a bunch of miscellaneous threads all dealing with the QoTWs before, but now just having a handy permanent link that sexily archives everything and makes plain what's next for the QoTW is enough to give me the motivation to get back in the game. I might have to develop a commitment to QoTWs to get dat LPB (Little Planet Big like-per-blog) ratio back up to my golden standards of MMOTales.

Okay, next I'm gonna have to mention the mail page. It's, uh, still good. Maybe there could be an archive box that permanently stores PMS PMs like your Outbox? At the moment, none of the PMs in my Inbox that are over 30 days old are trashed, as well as none of the PMs in my Trash that are over 30 days old are permanently deleted. Yeah, it's obviously a small error that I can take care of myself, but I have one from Waffle that I'd like to legitimately save instead of it sitting in my Inbox violating the 30-day rule. I miss that guy; I truly do.

Lastly for new content that I've looked at, the Help page is magnificent. Six pages chalk full of healthy content for people to read. Everything is explained well and in full detail, and there's a carpload of new BBCodes to mess with. Truly it is a great sign when the Help page is as sexy as it is.

*pause*

WHOAHOAHOAWH! I just saved my blog as a draft and then went back to edit it-- very awesome. I'll have to admit that the "Blog Management" page is also very handy. Being able to change the titles and tags of all your blogs at once is ridiculously awesome. Touché, Mr. Vusys.

As for things that I'd like to see implemented, being directed to the last page of a thread/blog after you post would be nice. And maybe more categories to organize the forum like in the last version of VuTales. Also, having the main taskbar or whatever-you-wanna-call-it always be at the top of the page no matter where you're scrolled at would be a bit helpful, but overall not many pages even require that much scrolling to have it left behind. That can be left out in my opinion I guess... kinda maybe probably.

Oh yeah, on your VuTalesID, having it say "blogs read" is kinda confusing. Shouldn't it be "blog reads" since it tallies how many views all of your combined blogs have? And making a permanent link to a blog/comment gives you a link to vutales.net, but either way there's no actual problem with the linking.

And for the wall, that can stay gone. PMs and Frags are enough to chit-chat-paddy-wack, and it's not like I ever took the time to view everyone's walls to see what people were saying. Although I did have an interesting conversation with Tarheel on our walls...

Okay then... I guess the last things I can think of are that the home page is sexy and VuTales only has one friend? D: I'll be your friend, VuTales. *links to my VuTalesID*

P.S. MvC3 tomorrow!

Directing you to the last page of comments/posts is going to be implemented at some point in the near future. Directing you to your post on that page is much more difficult, apparently.

Oh, that's definitely good enough. Also, what's the number of likes to be featured on the front page? And can you get booted from the front page if it garners enough likes and then someone dislikes it?

The number is decided by Vusys. He has a little page he can go to change stuff like that. Currently, I think it's set at 7. I haven't asked about that, but I would assume it could fall off the top page if it was dropped below the threshold by a dislike.

I wouldn't be surprised to see it go up if traffic ever increases.

Double Posting FOR GREAT JUSTICE (honestly, the reference in the title deserves its own post):
