Damn, Friday was one of those days. You know those days were you try so hard to stay happy and keep others happy. But really you're all just sad.

Today, a friend of mine left for some youth rehab center. She won't be back for 6 months.

It's a real blow man. I met her in 7th grade. She was my Drama class, and she was pretty awesome at Improv. Even though we weren't BFFs, we would talk from time to time. Telling jokes and shit.

Anyway, Friday was her last day. She kept the news real quiet too. A lot of people had no idea she was leaving.
So to enjoy her last day at school, she got really high. Got to go out with a bang right? :P

My friend and I were gonna smoke after school. And once we heard she was leaving, my friend was like "Please, you gotta come with us. We gotta smoke just once."
She agreed. (Also female-Nass was there too. But let's keep the focus off her for a sec.)

So we smoked and chatted about anything. After 15mins, we asked her how she felt.
"Really. Fucking. Good." She replied.
I glanced over at my friend and he shook his head and smiled. I looked back at her, smiling wildly, chatting away about something.
"How can you ever replace someone like this?" I thought.

This session meant something man, it was a Farewell party.

*sigh* I dunno. I can't really put any of my thoughts into words right now. I'm just really down.

I'm listening to

One of her favorite songs. I remember I was listening to it and I walked by her. She tapped on my shoulder and just said "That's one of my favorites."
and left.

That's another thing I'm gonna miss. Our 4 second hallway conversations.

Like that one time I was walking in the hallways, and it was a day I was wearing my pajamas, and she was too.
She was behind me and she slid her arm around my waist. "Heyyyy!" She said. "Loving the pants!"
I looked at her pants. "I love yours too! Keep rocking them!"
She started pushing my back. "Go! Go! Go!"
"I'm going! I'm going!" I said laughing.

Who am I gonna have those conversations with now?

She also sits in the back of one of my classes. Bottom left corner. I sit in the top right. We have a clear view of each other's faces. Sometimes when we'd make silly faces at one another, to see who would laugh first. I think it's safe to say she made me laugh a lot more.

Now when I look at that spot, it's gonna be empty. And when someone else sits there, it just won't be the same....

Things change. Had I not heard she was leaving, I woulda thought she was just skipping or something.

I'm gonna miss her. :(

War. War never changes.

Change. Change never changes. Because when something changes, it always changes from before. So change is change. Change.

It sounds as if rehab isn't going to do anything for her.

Goddammit, I can't even respond to to comments without reading some of my blog and getting sad again :(

@Dussy: Yeah it will, she isn't in so deep actually. She's at the point where she can live without stuff like speed....but she'd rather not y'know?
