A Plethora of Exciting Information

Written by Dustin on November 30, 2010
Not really!

NOX!

Nox is a truly phenomenal game. I advise you try it. It can be easily found by anyone who can use a search engine and knows some regular search terms. (NOX download.) It's pretty much abandonware so I'm not really stressing any caution in telling you to get it.

Let me tell you about it! It was released in 2000 and it's an RPG. It's in real-time and I really like this about it. It not only requires some strategy and such but you can also play in a way that allows you to dodge attacks and such. There are 3 classes and 3 almost entirely different story-lines. There is the Conjurer, the dude who summons and controls animals and shit. The warrior, self-explanatory and the wizard, also self-explanatory. You spend the game trying to overthrow this necromancer chick, Hecubah trying to take over the world. It's not hardly as cliche as it sounds. It's very artfully done. I really do suggest you get it and try it.

What's a blog without women!?

I've had a steady one for a few weeks now. Fingers crossed. Her name is Faith. She's blonde, a swimmer, and an amazing pianist. Honestly most tasteful and moral person I've ever dated. She's a virgin and plans to stay that way until she's truly in love and that's totally okay with me. She's a genius too. (Or pretty darn close) It's pretty rare to find someone like that where I live. She's honestly a wonderful, wonderful person and I hope it works out with my all. Not going to count my chickens before they hatch though. (I have no idea what she sees in me???)

Truck!

Eff that thing. It's in the shop.

College/Military plans!

I've got a scholarship interview for Loyola university. (Since I skimped out on Tulane) Loyola is the second best school in the state, preceded by Tulane. Duke is still interested but I don't want to go so far way. Stanford has shown a little interest too though. Anyways, since I got a 34 on the ACT I've qualified for Loyola's top scholarship. (They only give out 10) I'm excited. I interview well and I make a decent first impression so I really do hope I get it.

Words of Wisdom!

Chin up all you sad people. It always gets better.

Peace! :)

Ohay I got a 34 too.

But I'm retaking it. >: Need a 36. >:

And Westwood :O Too bad they got absorbed by EA. Sigh. The founder is now off developing mobile apps that aren't half as glorious (even though I liked them very much) as their CnC series. T_T

Heh, good luck. Both a 34 and a 36 are in the 99th percentile, if I remember correctly. A 36 does look much better though.

Yeah, it's a shame they discontinued it to. Which apps did the guy make?

There's a Loyola high school here. All-boys school. Super rich.

I wish you the best of luck with Faith. However one strong piece of advice if you love her and you plan to pursue a life together with her,
DO NOT MAKE ANY MILITARY PLANS! I repeat, do NOT make any military plans. You'll be whisked away to Iraq or Afghanistan or Korea and probably end up dead or maimed, what'll she do then?

Sry for sounding like a hardass im jsut saying

How in the world did I typo Stanford?

@Wolf Much too early to think about love. I haven't even kissed her yet. We'll cross that bridge when we come to it. :) Thank you though.

@Nass St. Ignatius Loyola was the guy who started the Jesuit order. (The military branch of the Catholic church) He was a knight and extremely badass.

Not quite. Loyola was still bad ass though.

Heh. I did a little research for the interview. For my sake, please elaborate.

While they occasionally were more physical than the rest of the church, their main activities involved acting as missionaries and starting up schools. Hardly "militant." That whole military thing was just an image/ideal thing.
