GRAMMAR NAZI TIME!~
Wow. If you're going to correct someone, get it right. Offence is the noun while offense is the verb. His form was the noun.

Multiple meanings. Offense means 'a violation of a law'. It also means the 'act of attacking', such as in sports, war, etc. 'Offence' is the same word as 'offense', just a different spelling. Consult a dictionary before you try to one up someone.
There goes the assumption that the American form of it is correct. The thing is, you guys don't go by the rules and are more phonetic. Can't remember the difference between offense and offence? Whatever, S makes an -ess sound so we'll stick with that.
*facepalm* Welcome to VuTales! yes we're tight knit but most of us (read that meaning THE GIRLS) don't bite so just be sociable and nice. youll be intro'd in no time =P
Who told you American English is correct? None of us. Offense and offence are the same words and mean the same thing. Offense is just the American spelling. dacarlover is not wrong (that is if he was in the UK). It was just a little joke. But if you wanted to usurp me, at least try to do it right.
kthxbai~
You can't suggest that offense is the American spelling if it is also used in the other forms of English. You can only say that offence is not used in American English. I still stand by what I say, if you want to correct someone, get your facts straight x2.
Wooowww shut the fuck up about spelling already dudes, always the same old shit.
