What is 3 + 6? (Sorry, we have to ask)

I'm pissed. Just...

Well, let's be terse here.

Maplestory recently had some problems with "fake mesos." Which is pretty pathetic, considering that the actual stuff is quite easy to obtain and accumulate in large numbers, given some rudimentary marketing skills and knowledge of the game. Their response: rollback. Normally, I'm fine with this type of stuff, seeing that I don't even play the game on a regular basis anymore, save the occasional new job or whatnot. Anyway, I share a joint account using my old account, and that person is the main user, I just check out stuff every now and then (circumstances indicate that it is relatively safe for me to share said account with the other person). My I/L mage, specifically arch mage, has recently got a nice boost: we scrounged for enough money for a scrolled elemental wand 8 (not too good, but not too bad, considering average is 145 M. Atk), and the first Blizzard 30 book worked (we're on the cheap). This presents a sufficient hurrah.

Then, of course, they rollbacked us.

At first the damage was not very severe; about 3k NX from sold goods was missing, which is fairly compensated for by the 5k maple points. Then while the sales history was being scrutinized, we found, to our dismay, that the skill book was missing. The elemental wand was still there (fortunately bought at an earlier date), which was somewhat of a blessing, but damn, I was so lucky to find that Blizzard 30 book for about 2k NX. Not to mention, the last time I upgraded Blizzard using Blizzard 20 books, I've had horrible luck, burning through several of those.

So... DAMN.

And of course, the first one I find after rollback fails on us. Somewhat cheap, 2.5k.

That Dual Blade better be worth the hype...

In Runescape News...

I've lost my 90-day membership after, well... 90 days. Not too bad; brings back old memories, that membership...

During that time, I've gotten my thieving to 51, my agility to a respectable 32, my attack to 61, and my strength to 69 (and, later in free world, to 70). Not too shabby, all things considered. In a series of treasure trails (best diversion, EVER), basic merchanting opportunities (not to be mistaken with those same techniques made by merchanting clans), and a lot of hanging around in Bounty +1 (1-iteming, as usual, albeit nicer than the stereotypical average), my meager 2 million bank had mushroomed to 7 million... which, by current Runescape measures, is still meager, as I've still insufficient funds to secure even basic luxuries (i.e. a Saradomin Sword, Dragon Claws, Dragonfire Shield, or whatnot). Not that I have the skill requirements for several of wanted items, but hey, a man can dream...

In Bounty Hunting news, my 46 prayer has made me an extreme nuisance to daily PKers that get in my way (see: those who attack me for little reason, as it is evident that I am not risking), thanks to retribution (which essentially turns you into a suicide bomber when active upon death). In the free world, my 61 attack bolsters my prayer, and the combination has made my rune scimitar-wielding nutcase an even greater nuisance, piercing through rune armor on many occasions, being able to force-feed people nine times or more before falling. Plus, thanks to two 1-itemer targets, I got myself a new rune kiteshield (I'm surprising scarce on rune armor, and wish to compile at least one set plus one placeholder set), two green d'hide bodies, and about 100k in whatever I sold. For a level 74+2, who doesn't play more than an hour or two at a time, not a too bad haul.

My current goal in that game is to get my cooking and fishing and mining to 53, 53, and 50, respectively, to be able to do Heroe's Quest when I get membership back. I also would like to get my firemaking up to 49, in hopes of doing Tears of Guthix for some free experience weekly. The consequent woodcutting experience is a bonus.

If you wish to befriend me on Runescape (though I'm assured that most of you have long left the game), the name's Tear Asunder.

Happy gaming, from darkness!

By the way, don't get pissed at Dervd for the rollback. He wasn't really a part of this that much. Most of the hackers were just a bunch of 10 year old kids who wanted money and probably got their accounts locked.

LOL it sounds like you thought he was blaming Dervd for the entire thing.

YES, DERVD ORCHESTRATED THE ENTIRE HACK THINGY. HE'S THE MASTERMIND BEHIND IT ALL LOLOLOLOLOLOno.

@Dustin: yes, yes you did give me your account. But I'd like to achieve those aforementioned skills on my own (which is annoying when you're actually trying to get it).
@Arl, dee and David: no, I do not suspect David nor any of the other members of the Vutales society of committing the accused action. Even though that some of us are technically outlaws because some were kicked by he-who-must-not-be-named-and-must-be-burned-on-a-stake-must-pay-for-his-actions.
