Well. I finished Battle of the Year 2010. The locking 2 vs 2.

I got to top 16! I'm pretty satisfied! This is my third time entering and my first time ever passing! Battle of the Year is an all-Taiwan-competition. So like passing the preliminaries is probably the hardest thing to do ever.

YOU KNOW WHAT SUCKED?

So the competition starts at 1 PM. I woke up at 11 AM. Then as I was packing my clothes and my gear, I pulled a muscle on my back... It was like the worst muscle injury I've ever experienced......

Just imagine yourself getting stabbed on your mid-back every time you turn your head, raise your arms, sit down, breathe, raise your leg, jump, bend over.... Well in case if you didn't know, locking is mostly arm and back movement. But guess what, I can't move any of them without being in immense pain.

This sudden letdown reminded me of my Dance Exchange last year. I thought that I'm gonna miss out on this event that I've prepared all summer just like how I suddenly got a high fever before that plane flight to meet international dancers...

i think shit happens whenever something that is important to me is coming up

SUCKS TO BE ME.........

However, I was like "okay fuck that, i'm still gonna go to the event anyway."
On my way there, I met up with the locking judge and i said "hey man, I dont think i can enter the battle today, i pulled a muscle on back.."

Then he said "oh snap, i have this machine blah ablha that can heal you up real quick"

Then he took me to the employee's lounge and put this pad thing on my back that is connected to a wire to a small machine and that machine sent electricity whatever and made my back flex like crazy. i was freaking out man, it was the craziest experience ever.

you know how sometimes your eyelids twitch without your control? it's the same thing but on your back! it's crazy!
after like 20 minutes of that, i felt a lot better! in the end, i finally did the competition.

btw i'm the one in yellow

PRELIMINARIES

TOP 16

Now that the event that I prepared for all this summer ended, I don't really have anything to do anymore. I'm done with Taiwan lol.
All the fun things to do in Taiwan, I already did all of them. All I lack now is my friends, my friends all gone or too lazy to come out.. them motherfuckers lol

Yeah so, that's basically my entire summer right there.

whoop dee doo..
