Well, Arly, Since You Asked :D

ALERT: This blog contains 100% gaming content. It absolutely will not mention the status of my mom's cancer, or any other un-contenty things that do not relate to my internet life.

As I mentioned in my last blog, I'm addicted to Maple again. Ah, the good old days.

So, here is my character status:

Vicelin: level 66 Assassin, active
Cari: level 52 Fighter, active
Keten: level 51 I/L mage, totally abandoned
Qiane: level 42 Thunderbreaker, active
Lefluetta: level 47 F/P mage, active
Viceiin: level 40 Beginner, semi-active
Luyumei: level 31 Cleric, abandoned
FreydeYu, level 30 Bandit, abandoned
FraydeYu, level 21 Islander, abandoned because Nexon made islanders POINTLESS due to unecessary map re-vamping
Lathonia: level 14 Bowman, want to play but EFFING NEXON WON'T ACTIVATE MY ACCOUNT EHG@$#@#P$$WJTRHSA!!!!!
MerylStryfe: level 22 dexless Assassin, want to play but EFFING NEXON WON'T ACTIVATE MY ACCOUNT EHG@$#@#P$$WJTRHSA!!!!!

So yeah that's my biggest problem right now. I can log into that account but Nexon wants me to re-activate it, but the e-mail for that account is dead, so you see my problem. Nexon has a form you can fill out for this exact situation, which I did, but did they reply after eight buisness days?

...

...

Its Nexon, so what do you expect? >_>;

So after spending a lot of time seething over the lack of reply, I've been focusing on my new guild. I decided to make one since I have so many characters.

It's called...

Zapdos.

...

...

I can't help it, it's my favorite legendary pokemon! D:

And our icon is cool. It's a yellow lightning bolt with a black background. I'd show it to you, but I'm too lazy to upload a picture. I'm working right now on forming a guild alliance with the EliteFour, while also searching for other pokemon-inspired guilds to ally with.

Anyone in Broa who wants to join just needs to ask :3

Anyway, that's pretty much it for right now. I go on vacation in a week but I'm going to try to get Vicelin (the character) to level 70 before then.

...

...

...

(I can't think of a way to end this blog without it being awkward.)

(EDIT: before I forget, I'll be at Otakon this year! Anyone else going?)

How are Islanders useless now? D:

Do the Adventurers still have lack of story and are mainly there for those who want to just level and do quests? If so, the Adventurers sound boring. Very. Boring.

Yeah, adventurers still have no story line. I'm excited for all the new classes coming out though. DBs might be promising.

Cheeze~ have you been to Maple Island lately? The only way you can get to an orange mush map is through a quest. There's just no point anymore.

I'm excited for the Big Bang Patches which also comes with Resistance classes. =O

Oh snap!? Broa. I've got my Dexless Hermit in Broa. I'ma make my Dual Blader there since all my thief equips (Hermit and Bandit) are on there. DexIessTeIk (both I's) is my hermit.

You're gonna need lots of funding for a DB though since there's the Blade you need

I don't understand this whole "you need lots of funding" stuff. I made a Dexless Sin back in the day when people were saying you needed at least 50 mil (back when that was a good amount) with 1 mil. I don't need some godly +10 atk over average blade every level. I've already got a really nice Wagner that's well over average. I'll be fine.

It's not usually the training where you need funding, especially not for thieves since they have LUK and DEX which both give ACC (funding for training is usually for warriors). The whole "you need lots of funding" is for endgame. If you don't plan on going to level 100+ then you won't need that much funding because anybody can manage doing less damage to level 100, but when you start doing boss runs is when it really matters about what equipment you have.

Actually, NL's need funding to kill things (like shit in Leafre) before they have a chance to fight back. Not enough DPS and you're fucked.
Drain only gives back so much health...

Edit: Oh. Didn't finish reading what you said. Oh well.

DB's suk

In the time it takes you to get to level 100 you can make lots of money. I probably made 250mil from 0-83, and that was back when maxing out your account was reserved for only the most elite of players.

In the few months it took me from level 1 to 100, I think my net loss was 50M. It all depends on how and what you play. (Note that I was a warrior so I needed ACC equips and a 35M Zhelm was a necessity for me to train efficiently.)

It does depend very much on how you play. If you're going to go all out, not loot to improve exp/hour, not do any of the get-rich quests, not take your time and save money when purchasing equips, train at places that suck pots and have no good drops, etc. of course you're going to lose money.

I don't do that, and I make it much easier for myself.

Personally I don't have issues with mesos (thank you Dervd) so I do all of the above. Except I didn't have any legitimate equips other than my Zhelm until like level 90. I was probably still wearing the level 60 set that I had found at Neo Huroids until Dervd got me a Battle Road.
