I wanted to by L4D2 in the Steam sale, so I log in, add it to my cart and try to buy it.

PayPal fails first time.

Repeat. Fails again. Repeat. Another failure. Repeat. 3rd failure.

Fourth attempt worked, and in case you're wondering why I tried four times, it's because I expect PayPal to fail first time with Steam. It has in the past (read bottom to top):


So I see my inbox light up with the receipt, and hop onto my desktop to start the download, but it's not in my games list. Restart steam, and it's still not there. So I log into the site and the transaction isn't listed on my account neither is the game added to my account. >:3

I wait 20 minutes and nothing, so I send a ticket to Steam's support and after about 20 hours, they reply that PayPal declined my transaction:

Steam tells me it's a problem with PayPal, so now I have another 24 hour wait to have PayPal's support to get back to me. In the mean time, the money is 404 from my account, and no game.
