QoTW: Death Note?

Written by Wolfboy183 on April 25, 2010
Who here has seen Death Note?

You know the one of that guy Light Yagami? who finds a death note and meets a shinigami who's addicted to apples like they were his crack?
And that weird guy L who is rumored to be Light's secret gay lover?

Anyway,s the question is this:
what would YOU do with a Death note? how would you change the world? Who's name would you put down and why?
How would the supernatural termination of their existence alter everything around them? How would you have that person die? Would you make him do something before he dies?

Rules of How to use Death note here.

Light Yagami OWNED

Light Yagami failed hard and got horribly owned in the went and went insane. How would you avoid this situation?

HAVE FUN :D

DBZ for life and I should watch all the episodes of Inuyasha since I was into that when it was on. Oh yeah, Poke'mon first season too. 8D

The only one I liked was the Fighting Food one that came on Saturday mornings.

Anyways, if Light hadn't responded to L's direct confrontation when he made that broadcast in the Kanto region, Light would have probably still been alive, killing criminals.
He would've also avoided detection if he killed all his victims at set times instead of at random intervals. The pattern at which he killed led L/the task force to believe he was a student; killing criminals after 3:00 PM and taking breaks on holidays. He didn't have to fight L or N or anyone for that matter if he had just stayed hidden. The existence of the notebook wouldn't have been discovered therefore making it nearly impossible for Light to get caught.

And I would've most likely kept the notebook and use it for any emergencies. Perhaps even on an enemy.

You're right.
I'm a dick.
Heck, I do not hate anime, I just don't like cartoons, I saw a few and they're all basically the same.
Mostly, I hate anime-obsessed fans.

Anime is not comparable to Western cartoons at all. What exactly have you seen?

Naruto -> the same thing over and over
Inuyasha when I was a little bstrd -> boring
that one that they pilot machines and they're all friggin depressed all the time, that's so frigging boring
death note
etc
I didn't like a single of them, although I liked inuyasha when I was little.

Try watching something not incredibly mainstream. Naruto and Inuyasha never end. Of course they're going to be boring. Death Note was excellent for the first half, and then got more and more ridiculous as it went on. Anime is kind of like music. There's a lot of pop shit, but dig a little deeper and you'll find plenty of quality stuff. I recommend checking out Cowboy Bebop. It's a masterpiece no matter how much you like/dislike anime.

I saw Cowboy Bepop. I didn't like it.

I saw Shin chan if that is considered anime, it was pretty funny. That little pervert basturd.

Oh, I see the kind of stuff you're into. There's a whole genre of anime called Ecchi which centers around pervertedness and seeing how close they can come to being censored. You should check it out.
