Stupid things Angramainyu says #12

Tagged as: basilmarket, fail.

Written by Vusys on April 24, 2010
Angra said: When I initially composed "On Satanism," I did so in response to a number of threads wherein misguided users accused us of murderous, conspirative and otherwise illegal and iniquitous behaviors. My thread, though written from a wholly objective perspective at the time, was confronted with baseless cynicisms, eventually climaxing in childish ad hominem attacks and patent nonsense. One user, refusing to be coerced by my wickedness, even dared to venture this insinuation -- now eternally my favorite post -- against me:

"<expletive> impossible you paradox propaganda <expletive> stop trying to get middle school kids into the Cult of Satan it is degrading when to the low life that is Satanism you need get beat by the fist of Jesus and smacked with the wood from the cross, as Wikipedia and when i google Satanism is <expletive> says the warship of the devil."

Conversely, Satanic misinformation, most often, claims of devil worship, are now reproached with a certain regard for the truth of the matter -- albeit a still relatively uninformed regard. That is, a regard for the truth that regardless of hatred for what it is Satan represents, the fundamentalist portrayal of Satanism is nothing short of fearful nonsense. The hate mail has ceased, and discussion of Doctor LaVey's philosophy no longer ends in religious rage. Could it be that the lingering hysteria of the Satanic Panic has finally left BasilMarket?

Angra's strange obsession with Satanism seems to keep coming back to haunt him. For someone who tries to appear as intellectual as he does he seems to have trouble judging his audience. Talking to the general population of BasilMarket about Satanism is like getting toddlers to discuss postmodernism, or PhDs to play with playdoh. The fact that he's been about for almost a year and still pulls this crap is evidence enough to me to show he's a troll, or an idiot. But the powers that be seem to have a different opinion there.

This is great. The two posts that make "perfect sense" are both littered with needlessly over the top language. Really proves my point without me having to do anything.

Diction doesn't make an argument. He's an idiot regardless of how he expresses it. He really needs to get over himself.

Most people who try to use fancy language are making up for the fact that they themselves aren't that smart. I hate when people think they are so fly when they pull some crap from a thesaurus.

Sure his sentences make sense if you really sit down and study them, but the flow in his prose is so terrible it makes me want to cry. Plus, his linking of adjectives and nouns is so out there that half the time there's a dozen different possible meanings. You have to readjust your interpretation of each noun every few words into the sentence.

Reminds me of AltarOfGod or whatever that guy's name was.

4. Employ the vernacular.
13. Don't be redundant; don't use more words than necessary; it's highly superfluous.
17. Exaggeration is a billion times worse than understatement.
