If you include handheld consoles:
I love this thing. It's so small, compact and comfortable to hold. At seventeen, I seem to have hands that are too big for my DS. I can't play on it for longer than 30 minutes without having to put it down. Not so with the SP. My only issue is the lack of new games, and I'm still looking for a flash cart so I can play ROMs. If anyone knows where I can get one that can be shipped to the UK, do tell me.
Best controller ever. Some of the best games Nintendo has made are on this too. I love Double Dash, and prefer it over Mario Kart Wii. Same with Melee being much better than Brawl. LoZ: WW is another awesome game that I love on the GC, even though I've played it through three times and had my save file deleted some how three times. >.>
The first thing I said when I saw the WiiMote for the first time was: "Is that a joke?", and I still maintain that view. Sure it's perfectly usable, but it doesn't feel like a game controler. Still, the Wii has some nice games, Galaxy being much better than Sunshine; as well as the Virtual Console, which I happily use often. The best thing about the Wii, however, is the homebrew scene. I actually use my Wii more often as a media player with GeeXboX than I do as a games console.
The first Sonic games remain the best platformers ever made. The simple style and level design are just awesome. Plus, Sega didn't have to recycle a random other game to make a sequel. *cough* Mario *cough*
