Fear not, I am not going to preach to you about Christianity or anything. This is MMOTales.

Everyone who was on MMOTales for at least a few months knows that that place was Magical. We all loved it because we could go there and be who we were without any unfair criticism. Submit our stories, vent our feelings, and just enjoy the company of other people. What started as a minor blog site turned into something huge for us. Time passed, and we were all having a blast on MMOTales...

And then Profil3 opened.

Most of us didn't care about it, as we had our beloved MMOTales, but some people like myself were worried that this was going to kill MMOTales.
Nevertheless, the days turned into weeks, and weeks into months. Shenanigans ensued between us and Captain. Apparently we were "breaking the rules", and did a whole bunch of stupid shit. We weren't worried though...
Then it happened.

I logged on that morning, and typed in mmotales.com as always, and got this message...

"Due to the costs associated with hosting this site and the relative lack of traffic, MMOTales.com is no longer. We appreciate that this comes as a disappointment to you as we are similarly disappointed after all of the time and money from our own pockets that we've put into the site. We hope you might find a new community of friends at Profil3. Thank you for your support. "

I was enraged. I never thought that Captain would do such a thing! Being with MMOTales from its birth all the way to its death, I was stricken with a sense of despair. I asked around, and everyone directed me to the proboards where we regrouped. Much cussing, and about a year later, we have VuTales. This was our salvation from the proboards, and it's unattractive background color.

Still, I couldn't help but feel melancholy in this bittersweet moment as many abandoned the name MMOTales, and moved on to VuTales. Don't get me wrong, Vusys is awesome, and he is deserving of much praise.. but MMOTales was our original home, and I can't help but feel bad.

Then I came up this idea.

All the former MMOTalers could band together while we still have our numbers, and write a book.

Not a pussy-foot page of text.

A REAL book. We probably won't get it published, but spreading it around would be an amazing feat, so that people hear what happened to us.

You can write about anything. Your experiences from MMOT, or anything that relates to it during the time we were on it. You can just write what you feel. It doesn't have to be a summary or anything. Your voice from the cage that captain held MMOTales in.
