What is 13 + 16? (Sorry, we have to ask)

I just noticed

Written by Souseiki on November 15, 2009
that I haven't even made a proper blog yet. Actually, I haven't actually posted anything in a while. Huh, I guess time flies whether you're not having fun or am.

Alright, Vutales. I've really just been lurking around lately, partly because of how school just got busier, and not knowing really what to blog about. My life isn't particularly interesting. Hell, me in general isn't interesting either. But eh, I'll give it a shot. Oh yeah. You guys probably didn't notice, but my birthday passed and now I've turned 13. Yay.

High school's alright, I guess. Its harder and has more work and stuff, but not as much as what I expected from an enrichment program. I've been failing some of my tests though, which hopefully won't kill my mark to below a B. (They'll start considering to kick you out of the program when you get a C.) Well, if it was my elementary school, I'd already be failing, but secondary has a weird system. Homework's been easy but time-consuming as usual, so its not especially hard to get my grades higher with that. Actually, I'm surprised that I even got in that program, since I'm really just a B student from a private school.

Apparently they're making us do volunteer hours too. Just twenty, or fifteen for me since we went on a field trip to go pick out weeds. I have a place to do em at this art class for little kids already. Its not bad, but.. I don't know how to deal with them.

So far P.E's been the best subject by far. Its the only subject where the teacher DOESN'T have a bad impression of me. We started off with volleyball, but ended up switching to basketball. Nothing really to say about it; cept that its fun.

I started off a little slow in the year, wasn't really used to doing hw at home rather than at school. Last year I did most of it at school, and only really brought one thing home a day. What? It worked, and its not like I failed too much then. I really should start studying for tests, though.

There's a couple clubs that I want to join, mainly sports since the rest are kinda weird, and.. its like they're favoring some clubs over the others. See, badminton, basketball, and volleyball all have like, four teams. (Grade 8, Grade 9, Junior and Senior) But the rest have only one. ONE for everyone. How the hell am I supposed to join one of these when I'm pitted against like, 200 kids who're older than me!? Just because there's a difference in age means that they're taller and have more power. Needless to say, it sucks.

One more thing; band class. I used to be in private, so we didn't have anything like it except for a school choir which we were forced to take part of. Its good too. I play Tenor Saxophone, the first thing that I've started on that didn't involve hands to produce the music, like piano and stuff. The others in my section are alright, now if only they could learn how to read the music and remember the fingerings.. I can't really do well in an instrument if the people around me don't. Its weird, but true. Eh.

Girlfriend? Hell no.

I've been trying to keep tennis in my daily life since school started, without a doubt harder since winters here now and its raining almost every day. Sure, I joined a club, but only for the lessons since its really far away. Its practically impossible to play now, cuz the sun sets at like, five-ish (?) and the closest courts are like, 30 minutes away by foot. I don't want to try out for the team in spring to find out that I suck because I stopped for the winter. Damn.

Shoot, I've already ran out of things to say. Gah.

High school starts in Grade 8, and some people get into Grade 8 at age 13. It's just depends on your date of birth and if you can even get into the Grade
