I don't know how much of the old community is still here, or how much of the old community that knew me is still here. For those of you who still remember me ; I'm LunarPanda.

For the vast majority who don't remember/know me ;

My name's Steve. I'm fifteen, but a big time gamer. My gaming experience ranges from the times of Starcraft I and Runescape, maybe five or six years ago. I've played through a lot of the other old games; Diablo, Diablo II, Warcraft I, Warcraft III, GMS Beta - the list goes on and on. I currently focus my gaming experience on World of Warcraft, where I play a level 80 Horde-side Paladin on Thunderhorn US. I have, however, gone back to MapleStory to dabble with the most recent class - the Cygnus Knight.

Gaming has really changed my life. It's changed my circle of friends, it's affected many other parts of my life as well. My closest friends are actually the people I play World of Warcraft in. Before I get punched in the face for being a nocturnal gaming nerd who never sees the day of light - let me explain.

When I played Maplestory, limitations arose in conversations - no one likes spending the time to bypass chat filters, it's much easier to disguise your personality, and it's really harder to connect. Upon starting World of Warcraft - I started using Ventrilo - a game voice-chat system. I met Max/Veggie through another member of MMOTales, AliyahRoyal. We soon started playing World of Warcraft together, and in-between bouts of leveling and figuring the amazing quest system out, we socialized. I brought my best friend from Pre-School into WoW, and we formed a tight circle with Max's friend, Tyler. We brought in more friends and our usual ventrilo group meets, well, every day.

We know a lot about each others' lives. I know where Max lives, the lifestyle he leads, his hobbies, his interests, the type of person he is. We have our pet peeves about each other, but we're very, very close friends. We are close enough to throw racial slurs at each other without them being insults, we're close enough that we have our own lingo, our own insider moments.

Anyway, I'll keep this post short. Hope some of you out there remember me. Game on. :D
