I wanted to switch Marketing with Psychology, and got it. Man, I'm so lucky I have the nice counsellor in my school.
I absolutely love one of the songs we're singing in choir this year. It's called "Adorable Flujo", and believe me, it sounds better than the title sounds.
I got $250 in 'scholarship' from the government. Not sure what I did to get it, but money is still money!
Our school's choir got invited to perform at the opening ceremony of the 2010 Paralympic Games! We still don't know if we are going to perform (it depends if our director decides to go), but still, it's probably a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
There's so much more music to learn in choir now, and I'm also the accompanist. I am going to die.
Homework is already starting to wear me down, and it's only been three days!
I've discovered my math class is the 'unofficial' honours class; that means that apart from the usual curriculum, we also learn pre-Calculus stuff because most of my class has AP Calculus next semester. (Yes, my school does run on a semester system, and I'm too lazy to explain what that is now.)
My semester is one straight from hell; all the subjects are academics.Semestered schools rock imo. The idea of not having to take 8 exams at once appeals to me :P
Not having to take 8 exams at once?
blasphemy D:
Yeh, 4 classes per semester is the way to go. In the case of my senior years, only 3 per semester.
One of my classmates is a morbidly obese 10th grader, her name is Sarah (will put last name later) and she proudly proclaims she smokes although she is underage and I can't tell the police about her smoking so they can arrest her for some reason, and she also lacks self control (which can probably be implied by her eating habits) not to mention she acts bitchy. She is also not particularly intelligent either.
That's can be a con.
I think psychology is the most interesting subject I've studied in school
OffTopic: I have a batshit insane english teacher...well that could be a Pro since she doesn't take her assignments seriously too
